Go to the Lake. St. Stephens specifically. Technically more of a rock Quarry.
Be sure to take all the kids, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc..........and the dog.
Jump off cliffs
okay, so no one laugh here. I totally did not know they were taking pics, if I had I would have made a more gracefull entrance. I was all LEAP, so I don't hit my feet on the side.
K's jumps were much better. In fact I could barely keep her from the cliff side. Oh and by the way....the water here is 65 ft. deep. Thats my girl! Never scared.
R taking a break from cliff jumping. Its hard work! I jumped one time, and I am still sore!
Miley enjoyed herself. She never wanted to get out of the water. I was really surprised at her. Naps in the sand were fun too.
Kayaks were rented and the kids loved this. R is now officially asking for one.
Once we got K away from the cliff side she decided she liked the Kayak too.
It was a beautiful, funfilled, relaxing, exhausting day.
I needed it.
I have really been feeling isolated down here. Feeling like there is nothing to do. This was a great change of pace for us and only 1 hour away. Pack a cooler and its a great day adventure. With everyone tightening their belts and our beautiful beaches (that I now live so close to) are being polluted with oil......its a good reminder to look around at parks and recreational things to do.
